If I leave three tabs open memory goes way down. I used around 35% of my memory in normal operation if I leave my tabs open for hours it goes over 80% I go into the memory usage it will be 400,000K or so for firefox this was not a problem before. What gives??

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open three tabs each different webpages
2. use it for a while
3. Lot at memory firefox will become sluggishe do to so much meomory being used.

Actual Results:
I have to close it down wait for the memory to go back down and then open it back up. Repeat this everytime memory starts to go over 70%

Expected Results:
sluggish must restart firefox. It should not do this.

Use red cat blue flavor theme. Have for a year no problems with it before. This only started after I downloaded 1.5.
We *really* can't do much with this report. Could you provide more detail?
Things like:
 - What sites are loaded in those three tabs?
 - Does running Firefox in safe mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/safe_mode) reduce memory usage?
 - Any extensions installed? If so, list them.
First tab I keep at http://www.babyzone.com/Features/Community/frames.asp I refresh a lot.

Second Tab at http://www.ovusoft.com/forum/ again I refresh a lot.

Third tab is random gmail.com cnn.com where ever.

I have some extentions forecastfox 0.8.25, google toolbar for firefox 1.0.20051122, adblock 0.5.2.056, gmail notifier 0.5.3, tabbroser preferences 1.28.8, dictionarysearch 1.5 and Disable Targets For Downlaod 1.0.

I hope this helps.
Ah, Thanks :)
Adblock is known to be fairly bad at memory management (try upgrading to Adblock Plus - http://bene.sitesled.com.nyud.net:8090/install.htm) and Gmail is bug 321282.
Abbie, does this happend in safe mode as well (start menu/all programs/mozilla firefox/mozila firefox , safe mode)?
I did try it with safe mode and no it did not do it. I just installed the adblock plus so I will see if it still does it I will go and disable one extention at a time. Thanks for all the info so far.
Per comment 5 (indicating an Adblock problem) -> WFM
