If the "Extensions" window is open, the "File -> Exit" will close the browser window(s) but not exit Firefox.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run Firefox.
2. Click Tools -> Extensions. The "Extensions" window opens.
3. Click File -> Exit.

Actual Results:  
The (main) browser window closes, but the Extensions window doesn't, until or unless you close it manually, e.g. by means of its top-right red X button. Memory (RAM and swap) used by Firefox is also not released to the system, and the firefox.exe process is seen (in Task manager) to remain running.

Expected Results:  
The Firefox application should close completely, including Extensions, Themes, etc.

This bug does _not_ apply to Thunderbird. I don't know about Seamonkey.

I was unable to replicate this bug based on the reporter's directions.

- Could it be that the bug affects my "1.5 Branch" Firefox and not your "1.6 alpha" ?
- Could it be (I don't think so but I can't be sure) a side-effect of one of my extensions (see attachment) ?

And extensions can cause the weirdest problems indeed.

I don't see the bug in a clean (empty) profile :-(. I am now busy reinstalling my extensions one by one to see if and when the bug will reappear.

I suspect Nightly Tester Tools, and I'm not going to uninstall it. Can someone check me?

It was a conflict between Nightly Tester Tools and Tab Mix Plus. NTT 0.7.9.11 fixes it.
