User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Ebay works O.K. until you log in. Then a dialog box opens asking what you want to do with eBayISAPI.dll The file never loads and you cant get into My Ebay. Should you choose 'Back' then Ebay links open with a long page of text - the script Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on my MyEbay 2. 3. Actual Results: Simple as above
Works for me: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Your issue was likely caused by a temporary server configuration issue (probably a bad MIME type). Should the issue persist, please contact ebay.co.uk support or seek assistance from the MozillaZine forums - http://forums.mozillazine.org

Works fine here. Definatly not a security issue.

May I direct you to this link to show that this is certainly not an isolated problem http://answercenter.ebay.com/thread.jsp?forum=19&thread=810118250
Doesn't make it a problem with firefox though. It definitely sounds like a problem with the server.
QA Contact: firefox → general
I cant agree. If the problem is exclusive to users of Mozilla Firefox then surely that makes it a Firefox problem?
Arguing about whose fault it is won't help fixing this. A more report with more techical details (if someone believes it's a firefox problem) will.
What more details can i give? Mozilla thinks that EbayISAPI.dll is an application that it has to run.
I've got same trouble here with firefox. The message doesn't appear in opera or internet-explorer! It must be a bug of firefox :(
