Managing bugmail can suck as many have noted:
http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/bz/archives/009545.html

A cool feature would be if your name is in the contents of a bug comment (same matching as used for CC's) to add a X-Bugzilla-Reply: header, so one could easily have their mail client flag that email.

This would make it easier to follow some of the more "vocal" bugs without having to read all the "me too" or "fix this you idiot you owe me" comments.

To take this a step further:

X-Bugzilla-Direct would be cool to tag things that directly impact the recipient (review request for example) as well as being mentioned in a comment, or cc'd on a bug.

Tagging would also be cool, but that's another bug...

Just a few thoughts on my bugzilla gripes and wish list.
Yeah, we've had somewhat similar requests before, although I'm not sure that there are technically any *duplicates*.

There's definitely a problem, which is: "It's hard to manage/sort lots of bugmail from very popular bugs." I'm not sure exactly what the solution is, whether it's anything from comment 0, but it's definitely something that could be addressed somehow.
Severity: enhancement → normal
Priority: -- → P4
Summary: Emphasis on direct replies → It's hard to manage/sort lots of bugmail from very "popular" bugs
Whiteboard: DUPME?
For me personally, the biggest issue is keeping track of what I actively follow, and passively follow. The above would let me do so by allowing me to sort by interaction with the bug, rather than just metadata.

IMHO it's a missing picece of info. Right now it's only available in "View Bug Activity".
Depends on: comment-tagging

I think the needinfo extension largely covers this particular use case, at least, if the commenter uses it.
