It's amazing that mozilla supports Chinese GBK encoding finally.
However, I found that
Mozilla is TOO CLEVER to identify the "charset" of the pages. Many of
the GBK
encoded pages on the web identify themselves as "GB2312", then Mozilla
won't use
GBK encoding to process them. I hope this issue will be fixed in the
future builds of
Mozilla, otherwise I still have to rely on IE5 to view those pages. :(

We can easily change this by changing the charsetalias.property file.

I created test case in http://babel/tests/browser/charset/gbk/gbk1-2312.html
and http://babel/tests/browser/charset/gbk/gbk2-2312.html
These pages are gbk and charset meta tag is gb2312.
When I set the character coding to gbk, these pages are displayed correctly.
However, if I change the character coding to Western(ISO-8859-1), these pages
are not displayed correctly. I tested in 2000041206 M15 Win32,Mac and Linux
build.
I just reopen this.
