When I scroll with my mouse wheel, the browser rapidly backs up/moves forward pages as if I am erratically pushing the Back/Forward buttons. It may be related to the fact that I am using a Belkin KVM switch (F1DZ102T), although on my other box, Firefox 1.07 doesn't experience the problem. I downloaded last night's version of Deer Park Alpha, and the problem was reproducible.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use a Belkin F1DZ102T KVM switch
2. Switch back and forth between PC's once
3. Roll the scroll wheel
Actual Results:
Rapid erratic back/forward movement
Expected Results:
Scroll
Help! I'm not using any themes.
Related to/duplicate of Core bug 207665 or maybe bug 251356?
Confirmed, I have the same issue. I am not using a KVM switch. I am using Deer Park on Gentoo Linux

I have had the same problem and I was using the same setup except I had a wireless logitech mouse receiver pluged into the belkin KVM switch USING a USB to PS\2 adapter in the pin socket and my belkin switch is a F1DL102P model. I had adapters pluged in for both the Mouse and Keyboard because the wireless receiver was for USB. When I would switch the belkin from to and from the other computer it would freeze up the mouse and keyboard and i would have then plug in the receiver into the USB to get the computer to recognize them. I think this is a problem with the KVM switch and not the actual application. I "fixed" this by doing the following:
1: plug in the USB to PS/2 adapter labeled-keyboard- into the mouse PS/2 socket and plug in you USB mouse (it just works and I don't know why.)
2: Use a regular PS/2 keyboard and plug it into the keyboard socket.
It works for me, I hope this helps some.

Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!

I believe this issue has been fixed, because I can't duplicate the problem anymore.
