When a tree is set up to watch HEAD for checkins, it doesn't get any checkins out of bonsai when it asks.  This happens because tinderbox asks for 'HEAD', but bonsai stores it as ''.  The cvsquery.pl API actually has a flag that's supposed to be passed in if you're looking for head, and tinderbox isn't setting it.  This is now fixed locally on tinderbox.m.o.
