The included libpixman library has the same compilation bug, like the original libpixman library.

The included patch there works with Thunderbird 1.5.

I would say invalid, what do module owners say? This has already been fixed in CVS trunk in pixman-remap.h (see diff version 1.2->1.3), but i don't think 1.8 branch should get those type of fixes?

The error messages look a bit differenz here and in bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=316845

But fixing one of this bugs, probably fixes the other bug. So, it can be seen as a duplicate.
