User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060110 Debian/1.5.dfsg-4 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060110 Debian/1.5.dfsg-4 Firefox/1.5 Seems that Firefox has problems with displaying images when there is Javascript on the page (that's my speculation). When I scroll up or down page having picture on the screen it gets distorted. It's reproducible, cause several friends of mine tried it and got the same results. Here's how it looks like: Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. enter at the mentioned page 2. try to scroll up and down around the image several times Actual Results: That's example output: http://kni.univ.szczecin.pl/~ike/fenio.jpg And that's original image: http://skawina.eu.org/blog/bsd-14012006.jpg Expected Results: Should display it correctly. Seems that used theme and extensions are irrelevant to this behaviour. Tested on many different Firefoxes (1.5).
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060219 Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2006021908 I'm sorry but after browsing about on that site for a while, I couldn't find many images, and the ones I could find didn't demonstrate your symptoms. Could you post a link to a page which displays your symptoms in the latest version of Firefox?

Thanks for response. The test page could be: http://jabba.pl/fenio?sz=komentarze&c=8931 It occures with 1.5.0.1 Firefox. 1.7.12 version of Mozilla has some other effects, but less arduous. I didn't test snapshots but I can if it helps. regards fEnIo
So do images work fine on other sites? The link you provided doesn't display an image for me (although I can extract the image location from the source and it displays fine by itself), but when I saved the page to my computer, the image displayed fine. Can you reproduce this when running Firefox in safe mode? (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode)
(In reply to comment #3) > So do images work fine on other sites? Yes. Hmm... how is that possible that you don't see images on mentioned site? Strange. Are you sure you're browsing http://jabba.pl/fenio?sz=komentarze&c=8931 ? Maybe you've got some Adblock plugin? > Can you reproduce this when running Firefox in safe mode? > (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode) Yes it's reproducible with this option too. regards fEnIo
Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!

Confirmed also with: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; pl-PL; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070723 Iceweasel/2.0.0.6 Debian unstable/sid, Intel integrated VGA 855GM, so I doubt it's hardware dependent.
