Hello,

when going to about:config it will be very usefull to add a link to
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQs_:_About:config_Entries

for example, when I go at about:config I want to know what means
browser.download.manager.retention
I have to go to http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQs_:_About:config_Entries

A good idea could be to have a mouse over event that show the content of the help for this.

So when I fly over "browser.download.manager.retention" in "about:config" page I could see a bubble help :

 When to remove downloaded files' entries from the Download Manager
0: Upon successful download
1: When the browser exits
2 (default): Manually
Note: In Firefox, this can be changed via "Tools → Options → Privacy → Download Manager History"

an other usefull feature for about:config could be to search for a word in the about:config help (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQs_:_About:config_Entries)

confirming, as I couldn't find duplicates. Note bug 269423, however.

This would add a massive number of strings to translate, for a hidden feature that we don't intend to expose to end users at any point.  Could work as an extension (i.e. someone could resurrect Preferential).
