User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) Build Identifier: i load the following page www.mycosmos.gr it doesn't display the greek letters correctly. i think it's not my computer problem because the page displays correctly when i use internet explorer. i use windows xp +sp2 english version. i have done the following for the languages:Start -> control pannel -> regional and language options -> languages -> i checked all the supplemental languages that appears. Reproducible: Always
It is a problem for the webmaster, because the page is being served with an incorrect character encoding -- ISO-8859-1, which is not greek. To display properly, it should be served as greek -- ISO-8859-7 . Mozilla is correctly displaying the page as if it were iso-8859-1. This is an evangelism bug. The reporter could send the webmaster an email informing him of the misconfigured web server. (Note that you can change the encoding of the page yourself in mozilla's 'view' options, and verify that if it were served as ISO-8859-7 it would look proper.)
