When an export file already exists, and contains more subscriptions than Thunderbird, the file write fails to truncate the file before writing. This results in trailing junk leftover from whatever was in the file.

fixed on the trunk and the thunderbird 2.0 branch. I didn't think this was severe enough to go into the security/stability update (1.5.0.x), lemme know if you disagree.
