Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 1.5 (20060122) compiled from 1.8 branch tip.

Only threads (top level messages) are sorted according to selected criteria. Mails inside the thread are unsorted so they appear in DB order (order arrived?).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable threaded view with sorting based on dates in Thunderbird.
2. Expand a collapsed thread.
Actual Results:  
Mails with later timestamps are sometimes sorted before mail with earlier timestamps. I want to read my bugmail in date order so I can more easily see how it has evolved. Wonder why mails are not sorted correctly and find out that there's no code in TB to sort expanded threads. :(

Expected Results:  
Sort the mails according to selected sort criteria (date in this case).

Tried and investigated problem with the latest 1.8 branch Thunderbird. Also tried searching for bug but couldn't find one. I don't think this is DUPL of the bug asking for multiple sort criteria because that seems to still talk about only the top level messages of a thread.
