Duplicate of bug 317047?
Summary: Quicktime plug in nor working, shows a question mark over the "Q". → Quicktime plugin not working, shows a question mark over the "Q".
I'm seeing Qs which after a few seconds have question marks over them instead of graphics on various sites. Videos don't play, nor does the music players on MySpace, with the exception of Ask Javi. For some reason Ask Javi does actually work, for all I know it's because he's a writer/producer for Lost.
I have the same problem, as well.
Is there a fix for this bub yet?
I also have this problem although it doesn't happen on every site; Mozilla for example works fine. I suspect it is how some sites access the browser???
I finally managed to fix it by downloading the newest flash plugin. It seems that sites like MySpace and YouTube use quicktime embedded in flash, and so you need both the flash and quicktime plugins.
Issue was with a different product.
