You launch a load of a pdf file.
You hit cancel during load of the file : boum !

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.You launch a load of a pdf file.
2.You hit cancel during load of the file
3. OK go to task manager (I personnaly replaced it by Process Explorer of SysInternals)

Actual Results:  
Firefox no more responding

Expected Results:  
Stopping load

Can you give a link to such a large pdf file?
All pdfs I try load within a second so I have no time to cancel the download.

When I rightclick on the pdf link -> Save link as and click Cancel nothing special happens only that it cancels the download.
Have you tried it in Firefox's safemode to rule out problems caused by extensions?

No I did not, and yes it's ok in safe mode so certainly one of my plugins is involved.

Actually the cancel button depends of the language question appearing first.

I think you have to open Acrobat for the first time of the session to see appears this language question dialog box.

I did not try in safe mode as I'm curretnly working on a project. But will do later to confim this problem in safe mode...

Hi,

On my 2 machines (2k & XP) It's adobe Reader 6.02 (patched from 6.01 to 6.02, official patch PATCH601_602.RTP)

Adobe DLL is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\browser\nppdf32.dll

nppdf32.dll in Firefox's Plugins directry is used if the plugin is installed in Plugins of Fx.
nppdf32.dll in Plugins of Fx is same one as nppdf32.dll in Acrobat's library?
Check timestamp, file size and property/"version info." of nppdf32.dll in both libs.
