Duplicate of Core bug 275387?

I don't think it's a duplicate of this, because bug 275387 is RESOLVED FIXED since october 2005, But I use the 20060116 version of mozilla and the print preview still doesn't work.
Mozilla 1.7.x is only taking security fixes. If you want more recent fixes, you'll to use a more recent SeaMonkey or Firefox build
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/contrib/latest-mozilla1.8.0/
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/1.5/

On your advice, I installed http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/contrib/latest-mozilla1.8.0/

sorry, wrong bug. still a dupe. the patch didn't make it into 1.0, but is fixed on trunk and for SM 1.1

I've just installed the very last seamonkey release (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; fr-FR; rv:1.8.0.2) Gecko/20060404 SeaMonkey/1.0.1)
and the very last Firefox release (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; fr; rv:1.8.0.2) Gecko/20060308 Firefox/1.5.0.2) and I got exactly the same result I described before.
In conclusion, even if this bug is a duplicate of #311028 (which I still don't think because it doesn't match at all the description...) It is NOT fixed

So REOPEN

1.0.1 != 1.1

This bug will never be fixed in 1.0.x. bug 311028 will never be fixed in 1.0.x. This bug is a dupe of bug 311028.

Hello, It's me again.
Now, I've just installed :
"SeaMonkey 1.1a Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; fr-FR; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060416 SeaMonkey/1.1a"
And I tried to install the latest seamonkey-1.5a.en-US.win32.installer.exe (but this one completely refuse to start)
It seems to me that SeaMonkey 1.1a is in the SM 1.1 trunk, tell me if I'm making a mistake...
I have tried to print the same page as usual... and I get once again exactly the same result.
So even in the trunk you mention, this bug ISN'T FIXED

current trunk is 1.5a, but I think it might not support pre-Win2k versions of Windows. But 1.1a should also have the fix for bug 311028.

It's possible that 311028 has been fixed, but as I already told, I have never thought that the bug I submitted was a duplicate for bug 311028, simply because I never had the symptoms mentionned in 311028 description :
"Preview window is partly overlayed by background and is missing scrollbars"
I never had preview window overlayed by background and the scrollbars are always present on print preview (even with the bugged and outdated mozilla 1.7.12 which isn't supported anymore)
The only problem I mentionned was that "When changing the size in print preview, nothing happens" on the page http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/faq#troubleshooting
I finally managed to run Seamonkey 1.5a (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060418 SeaMonkey/1.5a) on windows XP pro SP1, and I got the same problem on the same page
OS: Windows 98 → Windows XP
Version: 1.8 Branch → Trunk
I've got exactly the same result with firefox 1.5.0.4 with the same page
I just tried with the last firefox v. 1.5.0.6 and it's always the same...
I don't understand why this bug is still tagged as UNCONFIRMED, and even more why no one tries to solve it !
I still have the same problem with the last
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr-FR; rv:1.8.0.8) Gecko/20061030 SeaMonkey/1.0.6
The worse thing is that this seemed to be fixed in the last firefox 1.5.x
but it re-appeared since I installed firefox 2.0 and even when I run the old one, it seems that firefox 2.0 modified something in the profile.

For seamonkey it never worked neither than in mozilla, but I still hope.
I still have the same problem on the same page http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/faq#troubleshooting
with the last SeaMonkey 1.0.7

I still have the same problem on the same page
http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/faq#troubleshooting
with the last Firefox 2.0.0.1
I still have the same problem with the same page with both the last Seamonkey and the last Firefox, either with Windows XP or Linux Mandriva

I've found another problematic page :
http://www.w3.org/QA/2005/04/php-session
Another page with the same problem
Is this still an issue in current trunk build?
It is worksforme for me.

I still have many problems while trying to print from Seamonkey,
I think it partly due to the fact that the browser doesn't know what printer to use before printing : the printer config menu doesn't allow to choose one printer, the only way to choose one is to print choose one printer, but when previewing there's no way to select which printer to use, and it seems that seamonkey doesn't use the default printer selected in windows.

the case where the print preview resize doesn't work is when Seamonkey uses the virtual printer PDFCreator.

It would be nice to add the printer selection to the printer configuration box, in file menu ;)
I'm making new tests, and even after removing Pdf creator and defining another default printer I always have the same problem with http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/faq#troubleshooting
while everything is ok for resizing preview of current page (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324772)
I've just tried the same thing with firefox and it even worse : it simply crashes every time I try to choose another printer in the print dialog box !
I tried this four times and it crashes in every case
I just tried under linux mandriva and surprise : the box permitting to resize the printing as simply disapeared !
I was able to change to 50% in the file/printer config but It has still no effect for the page http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/faq#troubleshooting ...
Are you using trunk or branch?
