Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050920
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050920

Only about 80 characters of text in an HTML "title" tag is displayed in the navigator, followed by an ellipsis (a "..."), when the mouse goes over the reference. An example is with mouse-over maps and the HTML "area" tag. Only one line of text (up to about 80 characters) is displayed. Line feeds in title tags are not displayed on new lines/

It would be nice if the full text of a title tag would be displayed, and multiple lines too.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Mouse-over any title tag that has multiple lines of text or more than about 80 characters of text.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
More than about 80 characters of text are truncated.

Expected Results:
Expect to see all text, or more than 80 characters. Expect to see multiple lines of text in a title tag in a mouse-over.
