Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 If you browse to a web page while "work offline" is selected, you get a page that has a "try again" button. That makes no sense, as it will just fail again the next time. A possible fix would be to replace the button by a "Work online & try again" button. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Work offline 2. Open any webpage
Clicking "try again" does make sense if you switch to online mode first :)
Yes. But I always intuitively find myself clicking "Try again", expecting it to switch to online mode for me. :-)
I just got bitten by this bug as well, and the last 45 minutes of searching online led to no result. This is on Firefox 3.0b and makes it basiclly unusable. The "Try Again" button should get around the Work Offline roadblock.

It could at the very least give an option to go online, without having to go to the file menu. E.g. a button to 'go online and try again'. When many pages are blocked there should be a button to restart all of them after going online. This is especially required because I have found that on linux firefox 3 automatically goes offline on being restarted if NetworkManager is running. This can make restarting lots of tabs/windows very tedious. The 'try again' panel should also indicate which web site it is (the url), for people who like to work with multiple tabs/windows open -- one of the major benefits of Firefox. Thanks.
