Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Checked out "Allow messages to load and display ..." option in "Message display" preferences 2. Receive a message with remote content. 3. One should see the bar with the suggestion to "Show remote content" Actual Results: Excessive suggestion Expected Results: Skip this suggestion when "Allow messages to load and display ..." option in "Message display" preferences is checked out.
I would say this is useful, because if you have forbidden to load automatically the remote images in the prefs, with this info bar you are able to manually showing remote content for specific messages.

So, does It appear only when "Allow messages to load and display ..." option unchecked? If so, you are right, but else there are two possibilities: 1. "Allow messages to load and display ..." option is checked, so one wants seeing remote content and could control security with "Show remote content" option. Such that one can choose, If one needs it EVER. 2. "Allow messages to load and display ..." option is unchecked, so one NEVER wants seeing anything from remote side, why does one need "Show remote content"? Or several GUI radio boxes are needed: Do not allow messages to load and display ... Ask mee whether to load and display ... Allow messages to load and display ...
You see, that is very annoying thing with the yellow background, like a warning! Especially when I have already switched it off.
This question really only makes sense when general loading of remote content is disabled - otherwise, the content would have been loaded on mail display already. You can hide this bar via the userChrome.css in case you want to never see it.
