User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 I have a "form letter" that I keep in the Templates folder. I receive a LOT of sales leads, generated online, and I reply to each lead individually by copying and pasting the form letter into my "Reply to" message. The problem is, copy is not retained for multiple pastings. I have to keep going back to the template, and copying the letter over and over again to get the desired results. With pre-v 1.5 Thunderbird this was never a problem. Now, with v 1.5, it is. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.??? It just "happens." 2. 3. There were absolutely no other changes made in my computer before this became a problem, except for the update to Thunderbird v 1.5. Please help!
I'm not able to reproduce this. Is the form letter composed in HTML? With a lot of formatting?

Reporter responded by email: > You asked "Is the form letter composed in HTML? With a lot of formatting?" > The answer is "yes." Definitely in HTML. Now, whether there's "a lot" of > formatting, it all depends on what is considered "a lot." Some of the text > is in bold or italics or colors, with "linked words," etc. OK, I'll reopen. I still can't reproduce it. I tried using your email as the template, as it was in HTML with what I assume was a representative amount of formatting. It would be best if you could (a) supply a sample template that causes this problem, and (b) supply Steps to Reproduce. For (a): try to create a simple template with just a few lines and some representative formatting and see if you can reproduce the problem with that. If not, keep building it up to make it more like the one that is causing the problem. If this fails, we'll need the original template. Save whichever template causes the problem as a .EML file, and attach the file to this bug using the Create New Attachment link above. For (b), we really need to know just what you're doing when this happens, step-by-step. In which order do you: open the template, copy the template text, click Reply (or Write/New) the first time, paste, send the first message, click Reply the second time, etc etc.
