Hey. I'm trying to create an local "intranet"-page for my das notebook to start all the browser-links and maybee all apps he have links to on his (overfull) desktop. IE have an nice feature to start local apps from the url-bar of with only typeing the full path to the exe. If I try this on Firefox (trunk and 1.5.01) I only get the option to download the (local) file. IMHO there should be an way to start (local) exe-files from within Fx directly. Can somebody do this? (Maybee reactivat the gred-out alternetive download-option-box and put an "start exe" in it.) Thx in advance.

THIS IS NO DUP !!! Be course it's about files on the intranet (network-drives) and not about CDs ... ... please reopen !!!
