The thread then opens up to reveal many duplicates of the original message including a few genuine responses. I find these repeats of the original message irritating. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Thunderbird 2. Select a Newsgroup 3. Click on '+' next to a message. The message appears many times underneath. Exclude copies of the original message when the thread '+' is invoked.
