User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060124 Firefox/1.5.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060124 Firefox/1.5.0.1
When you select "add bookmark" or hit CTRL-D, you get a dialog offering to add a bookmark, with a triangle gizmo you can click on to open a tree view of your bookmarks. The tree view is very useful if you want to drop the bookmark into a folder, which is needed for pretty much every bookmark once you have a lot of them. You can then close the dialog with the tree view still showing. However, the next time you add a bookmark, you have to re-click the dialog to bring back the tree view. That's an unnecessary click; the tree view should default to whatever state you left it in, just like the browser window size does.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hit ctrl-d to add a bookmark
2. Click triangle icon to show tree view. Add bookmark. Close dialog
3. Hit ctrl-d to add another bookmark
Actual Results:
dialog comes up again with tree view closed
Expected Results:
dialog should come up with tree view already opened, if you left it that way last time
