User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051229 Camino/1.0b2 Build Identifier: Camino/1.0b2 When clicking link to pdf. page Adobe Reader 7.0.5 opens a blank page. If I look on the desktop, find the downloaded .pdf page and clicking on it will open it in Adobe Reader. This doesn't happen in Firefox or Safari Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/ 2.click on Download Oyster Guide 3. Actual Results: Get a blank page. pdf file on Desktop Expected Results: See the brochure for london transport. (on usps site, when fill out a label get a box says "Charge and Print". when click it I don't get the label printed but do get a charge on American Express. On desktop see the .pdf file and have to load it into Adobe reader and then print. Learned this the hard way after making multiple charges on AMEX)
That "blank page" is the page that's spawned for the download. Since I don't see a "download oyster guide" link anywhere, I can see why this is, but it's probably because their link is calling a new browser window or something along those lines. If it's not that, there's a relevant bug for not showing a blank page on download, which we do for some downloads, apparently.
Sam, are you thinking of bug 187915 or bug 155132? Neither are exactly this (which I don't think we can do anything about).
Robert, can you give us exact steps to get the "Download Oyster Guide" link that causes this issue? Do you have the PDF Browser Plugin installed? (Help: Installed Plugins)
Closing WFM due to lack of updates. If you can supply the requested information, you may reopen this bug.
