326588 - freeze when I click on Trash folder

Every time I try to open the Trash folder, the program freezes, hourglass remains, and I the only thing I can do is click on the X to close the program.  I then get a message that says, essentially, that the program is not responding.  Then I get another message that asks if I want to send an error report, and I click Yes.  Then the program closes, and I have to open Mozilla Thunderbird again to get back to my e-mail.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open e-mail
2. Click on Trash
3.

Actual Results:  
Open e-mail program, click on Trash folder, program freezes

Expected Results:  
Program freezes, hourglass remains, program has to be closed

When I click on the Trash folder, it should open with the list of every e-mail that I have sent to this folder.
