This is a follow-up from bug 287702. CSS 2.1, section 13.3.1 on page-break-* properties http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/page.html#propdef-page-break-inside "position: fixed" elements (and "position: absolute" elements too) are not in the normal flow of the root element by definition.
