User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 I operate from home and from the office, and use two networks for my internet access (office network has many security features, my home network is open and relatively insecure). When I switch from one network to the other, I have to close Firefox and restart, - otherwise I get "page not found". This is a minor inconvenience, but it works fine. My LAN setting is as follows: Automatic proxy configuration URL is http://proxy:8083/ However, each time I do this, Firefox adds a fresh tab and uses its own default home page - the one you get when you upgrade from one version to the next. I have SessionSaver loaded as extension. This is irritating, because now I have to also close down this new tab it adds in, every time I restart Firefox when moving from one network to the other. I believe this is a bug, and I found noone else to have logged it. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. See above 2. 3.
This is probably rather a core than a Firefox issue. See also previous similar reports for Camino bug 167900 and bug 327599.

This is not reproducible for me with the latest Nightly. Please reopen if you can reproduce.
