Details

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open two browsers
2. Drag the favicon of the first browser to the locationbar of the second
3. The address bar should display and go to the dragged URL

In current branch builds I see the right behaviour but not in trunk.
Yes I see this too.

However the address, while broken, is not 'nonsensical' for me.

When dragging the favicon from the location bar to a new window's location bar, what appears in the new window's location bar is the url of the old window, followed by the page's html title.

For example dragging the icon for
http://www.lexilogos.com/
to a new window's address bar results in
http://www.lexilogos.com/dictionnaire en ligne - langues LEXILOGOS >>
appearing the address bar.

this seems to be similar to bug 321279 and bug 324184.

Yes, these three are basically the same.
