Most pop-up windows are meant to be displayed without toolbars. The Places toolbar, however, will always appear in these windows. Steps to reproduce: (1) Go to cnn.com for the first time. (2) Allow popups. (3) Refresh the page to see the popup. Actual results: The popup is displayed with the Places toolbar at the top (cut off horizontally). Expected results: The Places toolbar should be hidden as well.
Not shure what you mean. I see this: http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/2961/cnn8su.png
OK I see, only the titlebar should be present on the popup.
Annie, can you rename the places toolbar to use the same id/chromeclasses as the old toolbar?

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
