User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060217 Camino/1.0b2+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060217 Camino/1.0b2+ When customizing the toolbar, if one selects "text only", the location bar and google search fields are replaced with text which one must click to get a a dropdown pane. There's no way to view the fields but see text as a replacement for icons, as would be more efficient for the average user. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.View>Customize Toolbar 2.Select "Text only" Actual Results: Location bar is replaced with the word "Location." The only way to browse is to click "location" and enter in a pane. Expected Results: I would expect "Back" and "Forward" and other icon-based toolbar components to be textual, but have the text fields remain as text fields.
Most users who are interested in having the toolbar be text-only are power-users, so the keyboard shortcuts (Cmd-L and Cmd-Shift-F) are sufficient. I propose WONTFIX.
This is how Cocoa toolbars work. Try it in Preview with the "Page Number" field in the toolbar.
Never mind then, wow am i an idiot. Sorry about that.
