This web page has a lot of complex moving graphics (mostly ads) - and the performance and erratic behaviour depend somewhat on exactly which ads you get (which randomly changes).  However - Safari copes fine. Apart from near-hangs (that may resolve evantually) likely errors are expanding ad boxes that expand (in front of text) without being activated and which then refuse to collapse (so the text remains hidden).

This isn't what I'd call "slow" here, but in any event, this is a dupe of bug 166932, possibly with a little of existing Flash performance bugs thrown in for good measure from time to time.
