User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Flash MX allows Flash developers to use frame labels within the Flash authoring environment as "named anchors" (aka "bookmarks"). Testing the use of named anchors in MSIE 6 (6.0.2900.2180) allows the named anchor to be used as a bookmark (eg: URL/flashmoviename#namedanchor) and the named anchor appears in the browser history. However, in Firefox 1.0.5.1, the use of named anchors in Flash does not appear to be supported. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a flash movie in Flash MX utilising named anchors. 2. Load the movie in Firefox and navigate to a named anchor. 3. Add bookmark -- the named anchor does not appear in the bookmark manager. Expected Results: Bookmark manager should display the named anchor, eg: moviename#namedanchor History should display the named anchor, allowing navigation through the Flash movie.
Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!
