There used to be at least one pixel room between the text and the underline of:
-links on the Personal Toolbar (bookmarks, mostly)
-certain menu items (example: View > Text Zoom)
-certain Preferences areas (example: Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings)
I'll attach some snapshots made by other users to illustrate.
The regression range is:
2005032805 works
2005032905 broken
According to reports on MozillaZine, this happens on Win9x, WinME, and Win2000. Not on WinXP. It seems to only happen on native themes. Modern doesn't have this.

Notice how the underline for the %s and the two last items is too close.
I suppose it's worth noting that the menu/preferences box issue occurs with both Modern and native themes, while the Personal Toolbar issue only occurs with native themes.
I can confirm this bug for SeaMonkey 1.0.2 [Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060516 SeaMonkey/1.0.2] running on WinME.
Especially concerned is the pull-down menu "Window", View > Text Zoom, and even the Profile Manager.

How will the removal of Win9x support affect this bug? Should the OS be changed to Windows 2000 only since this most likely couldn't be fixed for any future official Win9x releases?
I don't think it will affect anything. The 1.8 branch still supports Win9x, which the bug is also on, and it affects Windows 2000 too anyway.

Does anyone know if this issue was fixed somewhere along the way in trunk or even the 2.0 branch? I don't have Windows 2000 or previous accessible to me right now, so I can't check.
