This came out of a discussion with mconnor and others about bug 277966. The idea is to have a way to temporarily toggle the "Allow pages to choose their own fonts" and "Allow pages to choose their own colors" for a specific tab, without digging through 2 layers of options dialogs and without changing it globally and permanently. Such a feature could live in the View/Text Size menu (possibly renamed View/Text Style) and would have the same persistence as the Increase/Decrease Text Size menu items, i.e. it would stay in effect for that particular tab as long as the tab was open, but it would not be written to disk. Ideally, the change would be immediate and would not require a page refresh, but I have no idea if that's realistic.
To clarify, the toolbar button should not be displayed by default; it should just be one of the available buttons in the Customize Toolbar window.

Something like the "Fonts" checkbox of Prefbuttons?
With Prefbuttons you need to click in the box again to undo the change but mostly you only use that just to see how the site looks with the original fonts. You don't need to reload. Has always worked well.

Hm I didn't change that to assigned! :)

seems to me, it would be a pain to require the user to do this for every page especially as an accessiblity feature, so I hope you don't plan on removing the global feature in doing this.
This would be in addition to the current global persistent preference.
