User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Tried to send large TIFF file. Wanted to change file to JPG. When I click on CANCEL during the sending of the file, all of Mozilla crashes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Attach any large TIFF file (photo) 2.Push SEND command 3. Push CANCEL during sending. Actual Results: Every time I click on CANCEL to abort the sending of a too large file, Mozilla crashes. Expected Results: Left message intact. stopped sending, allowing me to delete the too large file and add a smaller one and then send the file. Files attached are photoshop tiff files, some are 7.0 MB, which take a long time to send even with a DSL line, and cannot always be received. I lose the entire email message. I haven't tried aborting send command with smaller files in the attachment boc, but I would expect the same thing to occur.
Suite version of Thunderbird bug 300508?
...which is a dupe of bug 238614 Susan: please test bugs with either SeaMonkey or a more recent Firefox/Thunderbird. Mozilla 1.7.x is only taking security fixes at this point. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 238614 ***
