3.verify that mail has accessed the server

> Setup mail account using Mozilla 1.7.x as the server settings are not visable.
What does this mean?
> Program set to download every 10 minutes.
Was it also set up to "Check for new messages at startup" ? Unless the account is checked once, either by that option or manually, the every-N-minute check won't be run.
> Steps to Reproduce:
> 1.setup pop server account
> 2.monitor inbox via other source.
> 3.verify that mail has accessed the server
You mean "verify that mail has arrived on the server"?

Since I can not see the settings for the email account I use my previous version of Mozilla to set the options on the account (share profile). I monitor the inbox via webmail or the isps homepage (comcast) and see if mail is in the inbox and seamonkey downloads it from the server.
