Program set to download every 10 minutes. Left machine for 3 hours and 36 messages were on pop server and had to press get messages to download Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.setup pop server account 2.monitor inbox via other source. 3.verify that mail has accessed the server Actual Results: mail left on server Expected Results: new mail is in Seamonkey inbox
(In reply to comment #0) > Setup mail account using Mozilla 1.7.x as the server settings are not visable. What does this mean? > Program set to download every 10 minutes. Was it also set up to "Check for new messages at startup" ? Unless the account is checked once, either by that option or manually, the every-N-minute check won't be run. > Steps to Reproduce: > 1.setup pop server account > 2.monitor inbox via other source. > 3.verify that mail has accessed the server You mean "verify that mail has arrived on the server"?

I monitor the inbox via webmail or the isps homepage (comcast) and see if mail is in the inbox and seamonkey downloads it from the server.
MozillaAS v1.7.x is not supported anymore. Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0a1pre ?
