We need to get a release notes document together for Bugzilla 2.22. If you would like to help out take a peak at what was done for the release notes for 2.20:
bug 286274

For this bug, all we actually need to do is *finalize* the Release Notes that we already have in existence.
Summary: Release Notes for 2.22 → Finalize Release Notes for 2.22

Nothing special to say, except that DBD::Pg 1.42 and 1.44 have been removed from CPAN because they are broken too, and that the next Bugzilla release will require at least Pg 8.0 and DBD::Pg 1.45.

patch, v1
> WARNING: DBD::Pg 1.43 has a bug which causes checksetup.pl to fail
I'd make this "WARNING: DBD::Pg 1.42 through 1.44 have a bug..."
>+- Also, all future versions of Bugzilla will require at least
>+ PostgreSQL 8.0 and DBD::Pg 1.45.
... if you want to use PostgreSQL.
> - bug 305836: PostgreSQL users: do not use DBD::Pg version 1.43 with
...version 1.43 through 1.44...
>-- We expect this to be the last release that contains the deprecated
>+- This is the last release that contains the deprecated
As long as bug 278017 has open blockers, I prefer Max's sentence.

Oops, yes. :) Isn't my sentence clear enough?

There are only 4 open blockers, all have a patch. There is no doubt about this question, really. ;)

This needs to be a patch to docs/rel_notes.txt, not to the web site.

Good, looks fine.
Nit: I prefer this phrasing:
>+ Note that this is the last release of Bugzilla to support PostgreSQL 7.x.
>+ Future versions will require PostgreSQL 8.0 and DBD::Pg 1.45.
Instead of this phrasing:
>+- Also, all future versions of Bugzilla will require at least
>+ PostgreSQL 8.0 and DBD::Pg 1.45 if you want to use PostgreSQL.
But they should both say "if you want to use PostgreSQL" (although it's clear in the first one, since it's in the PostgreSQL section).
