In Seamonkey 1.0 on windows XP Pro,animated gifs display one time but never again.
Can you check in your preferences window what the "Animated images should loop" preference under Privacy & Security -> Images is set to?
That was it! Thanks. This should be put under appearance I think. I looked all over for this setting but could not find it.
