User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060312 Mozilla Sunbird/0.3a1+ In a new profile, starting Sunbird produces a window 710x550 showing day view, but the right side of the view is cut off so the scroll bar is inaccessible. Either the view is too wide and needs to be able to be narrower (preferred so works on small screens), or the initial window size is too narrow and should start wider. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. sunbird.exe -p 2. create new profile 3. start sunbird Actual Results: Sunbird window is 710x550 showing day view, but the right side of the view is cut off so the scroll bar is inaccessible. Expected Results: Scroll bar is accessible.
Bug 360947 has a patch which allows the grid views to be narrower, which addresses part of the problem. If that patch is taken, then will still need to make the splitter start in a position more to the left so the text isn't truncated in the grid titles, and maybe use a smaller font size for multiweek view titles.

WORKSFORME using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.15pre) Gecko/2008051520 Calendar/0.9pre. The initial window size is still 710x550 pixel size but the view (including scrollbar) and navigation buttons are completely visible. The width of the left sidebar is now 180px instead of 233px - this also fulfills the request from comment #3.
