one of my sunbird calenders fail to import (i got several)
also lightning gives me a useless error message as well :-)

(109 items failed to import. The last error was: 2147500037)

as you might guess i'm complaining about the number, that's completely useless to users (for people involved with the project it might be usefull though ;-)

Expected Results:  
soem details why import failed would be nice ... gives a chance to manually fix the file if possible

Related to this bug:

When importing events from a *.ics file, if an event previously loaded (same UID:) has been changed (altered Sequence Number, or not, altered scheduling, or altered description, or none of these) SunBird fails to overwrite existing event data for events with the same UID.

I've read mention in other bug posts that there are options during import, and some sort of import wizard, but I do not see any import wizard beyons file selection.

I have had this error happen to me also.  One time it loaded some items (150 of them) and failed to load 700.  Another time I loaded the calendar without problem, then created a calendar, deleted the old calender, then tried to import and all 800 something items failed to import.  Then I deleted the 'new calendar', exited, reopened sunbird, and my original import appeared.  All of these behaviors are annoying.  Import should be simple - import all your tasks on any calendar you choose at anytime.
