I use Typepad for my blog. But I can't see the features such as text color, on-screen editing and so forth that I can see when I open it up with Firefox. Is there a fix coming, or should I switch to Firefox?

Reproducible: Always
If you change Camino's user-agent string (using CamiTools or in about:config) to Firefox's user-agent string, does that fix the problem? If so, Typepad is sniffing for Firefox's user agent and you should ask them to not do that.
My guess is that this is TE and TypePad is probably TE-worthy. Is there a sample url we can use?

Summary: WYSIWYG → No rich text editing at TypePad in Camino (works in Firefox)
This is the second report we've had (the other was on feedback) in a week. Apparently Typepad officially DOES NOT support Camino, but they DO support Fx.

That right there is TE-worthy, whether it's the cause of this bug or not. There's no excuse for supporting one Gecko browser and not all of them.

I have no idea how to change Camino's user agent string...
TypePad is at least aware of the problem, although I wasn't entirely satisfied with this non-answer:

     Hi,

Thanks for letting us know you would like to see TypePad
support Camino. We are always working to keep TypePad
up-to-date with all browsers, and we hope to see a future
release of TypePad that supports Camino in the near future.
At this time, we do not have a timeline as to when it will
     be released.

We will update the list of Supported Browsers when there is
     a change:
     http://support.typepad.com/cgi-bin/typepad.cfg/php/enduser/
     std_adp.php?p_faqid=171

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

     Thanks,
     Jen

I think we can safely kick this to TE now.

What is TE?

Jeff, verify that when pretending to be Firefox you see the same features as you do in the actual Firefox, and then we'll send this bug to Tech Evangelism.
OK, I tried it, and it didn't work... Didn't know you could do all that... Cool.
I'm still unclear why this doesn't work in Camino spoofing as Fx, but until such time as someone from their end points out a concrete Camino-only bug in Midas, ->TE

Fixing summary.

Adding the blocks from the dupe, since Sam has investigated there.
Blocks: geckoisgecko
TypePad now lists Camino as "supported" with the caveat "Camino version 0.8.4 (but not WYSIWYG Camino)".

Presumably this means they're just being up-front about their silliness now ;)
Appears Camino has been removed from the list http://help.typepad.com/browsers_supported.html.

Considering Camino is not being developed anymore I'm going to close this bug.
