can't change months by clicking month name

Details
When I click the name of a month or the left- and right-pointing arrows which are displayed to the left and right of the current month/year title in the month view, nothing happens.
I can switch months by pressing Page Up or Page Down, and I can also switch months by selecting the month in the date picker in the top-left hand corner of the UI and then double-clicking on a specific day. But I can't switch via the UI embedded into the month view header.
I first noticed this problem in the 2005-03-12 build. The functionality works fine in the 2005-03-01 build. Nothing appears in the JavaScript or regular consoles when it doesn't work.
