There does not exist a link from the approval queue to the extension that needs approval(like the one that exists in the title of the comments manager)

not the right fix as it does not specify the application type in the "more info" link. needs enhancement

Some other ideas I've had with me for a while regarding expanding the approval queue info would be a link to the Author's homepage (so you can check for release notes, changelogs, filed bugs, etc. etc.) and a link to a Mozillazine search for the extension name - http://forums.mozillazine.org/search.php?search_keywords=extension+AND+name - to look for people who might be having trouble with the addon. Also if the Author does not have a homepage listed, we could add a google search for the author's name - http://www.google.com/search?q=author+name - and a search for the addon name http://www.google.com/search?q=addon+name.

Granted, in some cases these would not be particularly useful, but I regularly find myself visiting all these links when testing addons so it saves a bit of time :)

Well, one problem is if it is a new extension, there is no moreinfo page yet.  You probably don't want to request review if you've already acknowledged its not complete.
