I can confirm this - it affects all Gecko based browsers, and it does *not* happen unless Croatian is set as default language in system "International" preference pane settings. To reproduce: 1. Add "Hrvatski" to the top of the list of the languages in International preference pane / languages tab. 2. Logo out / log in 3. Visit any page with croatian characters, for example www.t-com.hr - characters will not be displayed correctly.
I think this should go into Camino Release Notes until it's fixed, since we have Croatian and a handful of other CE languages.
Thanks, Riba, for those STR; with them, I can now reproduce this. Step 2 is key; I've never had to log out and back in before to get a language change to take effect and illustrate a bug, but it is necessary here. The good news is that this appears to be fixed on the trunk (e.g. for Camino 2 and Firefox 3); if you will confirm that with a trunk nightly from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/camino/nightly/latest-trunk/ or http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/ then we can close this bug as WORKSFORME (since we are already working on closing bugs that have been fixed by Cairo or some other change on the trunk).

We've had someone from the forum confirm that the trunk works properly (Slovene rather than Croatian as the language, but otherwise the same bug), and this is not going to be fixed on the 1.8 branch, so closing this WFM on the trunk.
