Using SM nightly from 2006-03-15, with new profile. Have defined an account and an SMTP server. Trying to compose a message and to send it, I get: --- Sending of Message Failed The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server tx.technion.ac.il failed. The server may be unavailable or refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your SMTP server setting is correct and try again, or else contact your network administrator. --- Am using "TLS if available", with username and password, to connect to the server. From Portable Thunderbird 1.5.0.1, SMTP'ing works fine. Also tried another SMTP server available to me, with the same results.

This may have something to do with the fact that I installed seamonkey installed without admin privileges on the computer this bug manifests on.
Eyal, similar results with newer release?
Well, right now I don't use SM installed without admin privileges, so I can't say. Marking WFM since nobody else reports seeing this.
