User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 I got an email and included in the email was a reference to (www.zepti.com). I clicked on it, and got a message that Mozilla did not know how to open it becasue it did not support TTP. I was scared of this. I do nlt know what TTP is, but it seemed to be just a reference to a web site. Is it that the Http wasn't included or that the parentheses are around it or is TTP a sinister thing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Mozilla not open 2.Outlook Message is open with (www.zepti.com). displeayed and referneced to open by the email 3.Mozilla fails to open Actual Results: link fails
PLease attach the message source as attachment (via the "create new attachment" link in this bug)
I think the link was ttp://www.zepti.com instead of http://www.zepti.com . That might cause this message (not a bug in Firefox).
This is likely not a bug in Firefox as comment 2 indicates, but we can't know for sure without the source of the message attached.
Summary: Mozilla Doesn;t Know... → unknown protocol message ("ttp")
-> invalid, since the most likely cause is wrong URL being passed to firefox (and no reply from reporter)
