This would ease bug reporting. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

If you run Firefox from the console, you'll get the assertion printed out there, and you should be able to select it.
I did start from a shell, but it didn't print the assert there. Maybe this is something that has changed? Or some assertions are different?
