from bug 358596 "Importing an address book from Eudora is not possible with Thunderbird >= 1.5. Works perfectly with Thunderbird <= 1.0.8." ... "with TB 1.5 a message "No address books were found" is displayed, with version 1.5.0.7 no message is displayed at all."

Craig, could you check your Eudora directory to see if the nickname file exists as nndbase.nnt or nndbase.<something> where something is not txt?

I'm having exactly this problem. Is this bug resolved? I'm using Win XP Pro service pack 3, Thunderbird 2.0.0.16. I had uninstalled Eudora but kept the email folder on an external hard drive. The behavior is exactly as described in this discussion.
