if you press 'delete' or right-click delete, nothing happens, the entry does not disappear. Only when you restart the adress book, it's not there anymore.
Normal email adresses will correctly vanish from the personal list though.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to the adress book
2.select a mailing list
3.select an entry/person/adress
4. click on delete

Actual Results:
nothing is hapening, no visible result

Expected Results:
adress entry to vanish from list

adress entry to vanish from the list
Which version of Thunderbird are we talking about here?
Thunderbird version 1.5 (20051201)
WFM version 3 alpha 1 (20060823)

Roy,
have you tried a different address book?
does it happen in safe mode?
I'm running version 1.5.0.5 (20060719)now,
the problem seems solved, that is: when I hit delete, either the red cross or my DEL key, the entry in the list disappears.
(it was a little bit digging in my memory though...)

Thanks.

Oops, in the meantime I also switched to Win XP 32 bit, so I'm not shure it's solved yet.
