Bug 308973 changed the product name and branding for MOZILLA_1_8_BRANCH to "Bon Echo", and with it created the requirement for two pages:

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bonecho (this is the browser.home.override value)
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bonecho/releases/2.0a1.html (this is the about: link value)
--> mozilla.org :: www.mozilla.org

Jesse: will the URL for 2.0a1-comprehensive on Burning Edge be http://www.squarefree.com/burningedge/releases/2.0a1-comprehensive.html ?

Raf: Here's my suggested cut at the what's new list (using wiki markup) ...

      <h2><a name="new">What's New</a></h2>
      <p>Here's what's new in Deer Park Alpha 2:</p>

      <ul class="news">
       	  <li>Improvements to tabbed browsing behavior</li>
          <li>A new data storage layer for bookmarks and history (using SQLlite)</li>
          <li>Updates to the extension system to provide enhanced security and to allow for easier localization of extensions</li>
          <li>Support for SVG text using &lt;svg:textPath&gt;</li>
          <li>Ability to detect web feed content (although it's currently not being displayed any differently)
          <li><a href="http://www.squarefree.com/burningedge/releases/2.0a1.html">List of notable bug fixes</a></li>
      </ul>

In "Known Issues", we should add the bit from http://developer.mozilla.org/devnews/index.php/2006/03/02/places-enabled-by-default-on-trunk/ about how to work around any data loss bugs (which don't really exist).

We should also acknowledge that bug 330126 means the drop-down button and autocomplete results are less accurate than they should be.

Also, wherever possible, we should be calling this a "Developer Preview" on the page to make it clear that it's not intended for day-to-day use.

If I make a Burning Edge changelog for 2.0a1, the URL will be http://www.squarefree.com/burningedge/releases/2.0a1.html. I only used the "-comprehensive" thing for 1.5, when I was combining all the alpha and beta and RC changelogs into one page for people who stick to releases.
Jesse: thanks, please let us know if you intend to make that page. I think that's the URL I used in comment 2

Raf: great work on these pages. A couple of errors, both on http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bonecho. Basically two instances of "Deer Park" which need to be replaced with "Bon Echo" (in "Downloading Bon Echo Alpha 1" and "Frequently Asked Questions" sections)

er, beltzner? I just checked the page, and the only reference to the word "deer" is to the globe/world image. Are you sure you're not looking at a cached version of the page?
